4 months down the line and I have found it needs cleaned and descaled one to two weeks, it's not completely brown with rusting there's a lot of black dots on the plate that will not come off. we have rectified this on several occasions by using the Milton steriliser fluid from the bottle and pouring that in which does the job for then but it's not a lasting solution. fresh out the box, (A) and here's a picture of a heat plate that hasn't been descaled (B)
